The gist: Kevin Smith's romantic comedy focuses on Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks), two friends who are having financial problems. To make ends meet, they decide to produce an amateur porn film. They end up falling in love. Obviously. Why was it banned? It was outlawed in Trinidad and Tobago, Malaysia and Thailand, where censors worried that teenagers would try to mimic the plot and make their own porn films. Oh and it was also banned in Utah, the same week that Saw V was released, with no problem.
